Actor/musician/activist Jeff Bridges recently unveiled his sleep companion project entitled Dreaming With Jeff. “The world is filled with too many restless people in need of rest—that’s why I filled my sleeping tapes with intriguing sounds, noises and other things to help you get a good night’s rest...Sit back, close your eyes, and nod off.” That's Bridges in his own words describing the impetus behind the project, one that exists both online via his site and the recently released companion album The Sleeping Tapes.
This week's playlist excursion focuses on not only sleep, but something (more often than not) far more elusive: relaxation. Shed and/or ignore any pre-conceived notions per "new age" -- this is Floating . . .
