Eric Clapton CROSSROADS 2019 Cover

While it’s never been an annual affair, Eric Clapton’s recurring Crossroads Guitar Festival – the all-star string-slinging event which kicked off in 1999 and took place again in 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2013 – is more than exciting enough for music fans to get giddy when Clapton announced that it would once again occur in 2019.

The event, which took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, raised funds for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua and brought together a typically tremendous collection of guitarists, including – but not limited to – Clapton himself, James Bay, Jeff Beck, Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr., Robert Cray, Sheryl Crow, Andy Fairweather Low, Peter Frampton, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, Lianne La Havas, Los Lobos, John Mayer, Keb’ Mo’, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Randolph, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Jimmie Vaughan.

But what luck for those of you who weren’t able to be in attendance: after weeks of teasing this thing to you faithful readers, Rhino has just released ERIC CLAPTON’S CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL 2019 as a 3-CD set, a 6-LP set, a 2-DVD set, and even a 2-Blu-ray set.

And now that we’ve got you salivating all over your keyboard, we’re going to close things out by making it worse: here’s the track listing!
