When a duo has sold an estimated 75 million records worldwide over the course of their career, you might be surprised that they even feel the need to get out of bed in the morning, let alone continue to release new material. As such, let’s all raise our glasses to Roxette: after going their separate ways from 2001 to 2011, Per Gessle and Marie Frederickson reunited to release a new album in 2011 (Charm School), which was followed by another new album in 2012 (Travelling), and as of today they’ve added still another new album to the mix.

In other words, Roxette aren’t resting on their laurels. Instead, they’re bringing you Good Karma.

Their 10th studio album, Good Karma features 11 new tracks from Roxette, including the songs “It Just Happens,” which was released as the first single, and “Some Other Summer,” which hit Spotify earlier this week. "For the new record, we wanted to combine our classic Roxette sound with a modern and slightly unpredictable production to create a soundscape where you would both recognise our sound and find something new,” Gessle said in the press release for the album.

It seems as though the objective was met: Good Karma was produced by Christopher Lundquist (Brainpool) and longtime Roxette knob-twiddler Clarence Öfwerman, with Gessle co-writing songs both with Mats Persson, who’s been collaborating with Gessle since the Look Sharp! era, and Addeboy vs Cliff, who definitely qualify as new blood.

Here’s the video for “It Just Happens,” to give you a taste of what to expect from the new album:

Like what you hear? Then go get Good Karma. It’s out now!
