START YOUR EAR OFF RIGHT: The 2019 Edition

Here at Rhino HQ, we’re all about the importance of both keeping music history alive and maintaining tradition, which is a big reason why we’re once again kicking off a new year by offering up a new round of our START YOUR EAR OFF RIGHT campaign, which – to borrow a phrase from Troy McClure – you might remember from such previous years as 2017 and 2018!

If you don’t remember the concept of START YOUR EAR OFF RIGHT, however, we’re happy to fill that void in your memory or – if this is, in fact, the first time you’ve ever heard of this wondrous event – to school you on how spectacular it is if you’re a LP lover.

On each Tuesday of January, Rhino will be releasing a handful of new limited-edition vinyl reissues which are available exclusively at your friendly neighborhood music retailer (provided they’ve opted to participate in the program) and won’t be available at online-only outlets. In addition, those of you who make your purchases early enough, i.e. while supplies last, will receive a free copy of the much-vaunted Rhino calendar.

Directly underneath this paragraph you’ll find the full list of all of the START YOUR EAR OFF RIGHT releases, but rest assured that we’ll be offering up reminders throughout the month to make sure you don’t forget what the releases of each individual week will be. After all, as we’ve said (and as you’ll see below), these are limited-edition releases, so if you’re not there right away to pick up the ones that you want, then there’s a decent chance that you’ll miss out on them forever.
