The bohos are back in town. "The Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast," still the one and only official podcast for our friends the Grateful Dead, has returned for a brand new season. Hosts Rich Mahan and Jesse Jarnow will dive back into the wild and wonderful world of all things Dead on the podcast that has generated more than a million downloads since launching last year. Bi-weekly episodes of the new third season will go live every other Thursday, with the first episode launching on April 15, 2021.

Season Three of "The Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast" kicks off with a special 90-minute episode featuring no less than 15 special guests riffing on the band's 1971 classic live album, best known as SKULL AND ROSES. The first five episodes of the new season will focus on the live LP, leading up to the June 25, 2021, release of the newly remastered version of SKULL AND ROSES on the RHINO label.

Among the returning guests across the new season include may familiar names, including David Crosby and tour manager Sam Cutler. The new shows will also feature new guests into the mix, including tie-dye pioneer Courtenay Pollack; longtime Grateful Dead lighting designer Candace Brightman; photographer and Dead family member Rosie McGee; Fillmore East crew member and future Hollywood director Allan Arkush (Rock and Roll High School); and Dr. Stanley Krippner, who oversaw the so-called dream telepathy experiments at the Capitol Theater in 1971.

All episodes of "The Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast" will be available via iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play, Pocket Casts, Overcast and the Rhino channels on YouTube and SoundCloud.
